We never rush sessions, force poses or push animals beyond what they are happy with. Your pet’s wellbeing is always our highest priority throughout every studio pet photography session. We never force poses, rush the process or use stress-inducing techniques. Each session is led at your pet’s pace, using positive reinforcement such as treats, toys and play to encourage natural behaviour and relaxed expression. Body language is carefully observed at all times, with regular breaks taken whenever needed to ensure your pet remains comfortable and at ease.
In rare cases, some pets may find studio lighting or the studio environment overwhelming. If this occurs, we never continue for the sake of photographs. Sessions can be paused, adapted or rescheduled as needed, without pressure or compromise. Your pet’s comfort, safety and wellbeing will always come before the images we create.
What to Expect on the Day
On arrival at our Wiltshire studio, you will be welcomed in and asked to complete a simple photo release and general liability form, allowing us to focus fully on your pet once the session begins.
We allow around 10–15 minutes for your pet to settle into the studio, with lighting and backdrops introduced gradually to keep the environment calm and relaxed.
Studio pet photography sessions typically last between 60 and 90 minutes, giving us time to work at your pet’s pace. Sessions usually focus on one pet to ensure maximum attention, although multiple pets from the same household can be photographed together. Owners are present throughout and may take part if they wish. Dogs are photographed without collars for clean, timeless portraits.
Cats are photographed using the same calm, patient approach, with no difference in timing or care.

Photo Delivery and
Professional Editing
There is no fixed number of images during the photography session, as every pet responds differently. Your investment is in our time, experience and professional expertise, rather than forced outcomes or rushed results.
After your studio pet photography session, images are carefully selected and professionally edited. All final photographs are fully retouched, print-ready and supplied as high-resolution files. Your private online gallery is typically delivered within approximately one week.
We also offer a range of fine art prints, albums and wall art, allowing you to display your pet portraits beautifully and to the standard they deserve.
